Well known global property expert Liam Bailey of SEO copywriting company Write About Property has recommended Egypt for overseas property investment, because "it really can't fail to grow", he said:
"I have written an article recently calling Egypt a property market of the future, basically because it is to a certain extent reliant on the government resolving the distribution of wealth issues as to how safe it is for investment, meaning I can't guarantee returns over the short-term or the long-term. But if you're asking me on a personal level, I would certainly invest in Egypt property because I don't think it can fail to grow."
Liam also said that rental yields on Egypt property, specifically in Hurghada were very strong.
"The hotel and resort market in the rapidly emerging tourist destination of Hurghada is very underdeveloped, and demand can already be seen to be stretching supply of commercially rented accommodation.
The developments that are coming up to service this demand are in the majority being offered up for sale to private investors to buy off plan. Because of the low property prices we have calculated gross rental yields of up to 25% based on just 10 weeks occupancy. However the properties are tending to come with guaranteed yields of up to 12%."
