Montenegro’s Budva has made the list of best value prime property destinations in the world, compiled by Savills.
According to the report, prime property in Budva is the 12th least expensive per sqm in the world at just £3,240, making prime property in Budva exceptionally good value for money.
However, arguably the most significant thing, is the fact that Montenegro has made the list in the first place. Montengro property really only began to see international recognition again when it split from Serbia in 2006.
Montengro properties could be purchased fairly cheaply in emerging areas, but the top areas like Budva have always been considerably more expensive. The Savills report shows that Budva property has held its value in the face of the international downturn.
This really draws attention to the wonderful country that Montenegro is, and the unspoilt beauty that lies within for overseas property buyers to enjoy less expensively than elsewhere.
